If you are a New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA) tenant who is a victim of domestic violence or sexual assault or the intimidated witness of violence or assault, you can apply to move your family to a different NYCHA development through the Emergency Transfer Program.

To apply, go to the Management Office at your development and fill out a transfer request form.

Once you submit the form, stay in contact with your Safe Horizon worker, District Attorney representative, Emergency Transfer Case Examiner, or Building Management Office for updates on the status of your transfer request.
