You can enroll in programs that make it easy to track, manage, and resolve parking tickets and camera violations issued to your business’s vehicles.

  • The Fleet Program helps you review the parking and camera violations your vehicles have received
  • The Commercial Overpayment Program notifies you if you’ve paid more than what you owed on a parking ticket
  • The Stipulated Fine and Commercial Abatement Programs allow you to pay a set reduced fine in exchange for waiving your right to fight certain parking violations
  • The Rental Assignment Program allows vehicle rental or leasing companies transfer liability to the drivers responsible for violations on company vehicles

The Fleet Program is a free program that helps businesses easily track, manage, and resolve parking tickets and camera violations issued to company vehicles.

Benefits include:

  • Online account that makes it easy to view, pay, or dispute multiple violations at one time and add or remove vehicles.
  • Weekly reports by email or mail listing violations issued to all enrolled vehicles.
  • More time to address violations before penalties are added. Businesses have 45 days instead of the standard 30 days from the date a parking ticket is issued or the date of the Notice of Liability for a camera violation.
  • Eligibility to enroll in programs that can help you save on fines

You’re eligible to enroll if your business has one or more commercial vehicles that are registered or leased under the company.

Apply

If you are also interested in enrolling in a reduced fine program for businesses, you should apply for the Stipulated Fine Program or the Commercial Abatement Program instead. Applying for reduced fine programs will automatically enroll your business in the Fleet Program.

If you only want to enroll in the regular Fleet Program, you must complete the Application for Regular Fleet Program and Enrollment Agreement for Fleet Parking Programs.

The Commercial Overpayment Program can help your business keep track of parking tickets and camera violations you’ve paid and notify you if you have paid more than what you owed.

Eligibility

To be eligible, the company must have 10 or more vehicles registered under its name with the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV).

How it Works

If you enroll, you will automatically receive notifications from the Department of Finance about overpayments you have made for parking or camera violations at the address on file with the DMV.

If your company paid more than what it owes for a violation, you can choose to:

  • Get a refund
  • Use the money to pay other violations
  • Leave the money in your account to pay for future parking tickets and camera violations

Your business can save time and money on parking ticket fines by enrolling in the Stipulated Fine Program or the Commercial Abatement Program. It’s free to sign up and to add or remove vehicles to your account.

When you enroll your company vehicles, you waive your right to fight certain parking violations in exchange for paying a set reduced fine. The amount of your reduced fine depends on the parking violation.

How It Works

You will get fine schedule with the reduced amounts when you enroll and whenever the list is updated.

If you don’t pay the required amount in the timeframe allotted, you will lose fine reductions and risk accruing penalties and being terminated from the program.

When you enroll in a reduced fine program, you be enrolled automatically in the Fleet Program if it isn’t already and get weekly reports of parking violations issued to your company vehicles by email or mail.

Eligibility

Your company may qualify for a reduced fine program if your vehicles make quick pickups or deliveries of things like flowers, linens, or food.

When you apply, you’ll be asked to describe your company's pickups, deliveries, or service calls. The Department of Finance will use this information to decide whether you are eligible for either the Stipulated Fine Program or the Commercial Abatement Program.

The Rental Program lets vehicle rental companies transfer liability to the drivers responsible for the parking tickets and camera violations issued to their company vehicles.

If you enroll, you’ll get weekly reports by email or direct mail of parking and camera violations issued to your enrolled vehicles.

After you get each report, you have 54 days to do one of the following:

  • Provide the City with the names and mailing addresses of the drivers responsible for the violations. You may also be asked to provide a copy of the rental agreement and additional details about the renter.
  • Request a hearing to challenge those violations.
  • Pay the violations.

It costs $1 per plate per month to enroll for the fiscal year (July 1 through June 30).
