If you fix the violation, you may have it removed from the record. You must certify that you corrected the violation within the time period stated on the Notice of Violation. You can find certification instructions on the back of the Notice of Violation.

To clear a violation after the deadline has passed, building owners must file a Dismissal Request form with their HPD Code Enforcement Borough Office. The fee is $300 to have a corrected violation cleared from the record.
