The Federal Government’s Do Not Call Registry helps limit the number of telemarketing calls you receive. Once you have registered your phone number, telemarketers covered by the National Do Not Call Registry have up to 31 days to stop calling.

You can make a complaint, register, or confirm that you are on the list online or by phone. You can also make a complaint about the Do Not Call Registry.

Organizations Not Covered

You may receive calls from election campaigns and other nonprofits, even if you are registered on the "Do Not Call List". These organizations are not covered by the National Do Not Call Registry.

Federal Communications Commission (FCC) rules prohibit most unsolicited fax advertisements.

You can make a complaint about unwanted, unsolicited or "junk" faxes received on a residential or business fax machine on the FCC's website.
