Small Business Mentors NYC is a mentorship program provided by the Department of Small Business Services (SBS) for existing storefront business owners. The program, introduced by the Mayor’s Taskforce on Racial Inclusion and Equity (TRIE), connects operating storefront business owners to the specialized guidance and social networks they need to succeed.

Small Business Mentors NYC will target operating storefront businesses providing supportive services for the most vulnerable entrepreneurs in low-to-moderate income (LMI) neighborhoods who have been hit hard by COVID-19 and who do not have the same access to resources as other businesses owners.

The program's mentors are entrepreneurs and industry leaders who have successfully pivoted their businesses through the COVID-19 pandemic, making them ideally suited to support storefront business owners in New York City.
